O que fica só no seu aparelho

• Dados do veículo (rotação, velocidade, temperaturas, marcha, códigos de falha etc.): lidos do adaptador OBD2 e mostrados e guardados só no seu aparelho. Eles só saem do aparelho quando você toca em "Enviar log ao suporte" ou em "Contribuir" (veja "O que pode sair do aparelho").
• Consumo: médias, gráfico, autonomia e a calibração que você informa (litros abastecidos e km rodados) são calculados e guardados só no aparelho.
• Caderno de revisões: itens, datas, quilometragens e avisos que você cadastra ficam só no aparelho. Se você exportar a lista, o arquivo vai para onde você escolher.
• Minhas telas e ajustes: painéis montados por você, os dados de cada carro ("Meu veículo"), unidades e preferências ficam só no aparelho.

O que o app usa

• Localização (GPS): usada só se você escolher "velocidade pelo GPS", para mostrar a velocidade. Não é gravada nem enviada.
• Bluetooth: para conectar ao adaptador OBD2 escolhido por você.
• Música: nome da música e do artista do tocador, só para mostrar no painel. Na versão da Google Play, se você liberar o "Acesso às notificações", o app usa esse acesso apenas para ver e controlar o tocador de música; o conteúdo das suas notificações não é lido nem guardado.

O que pode sair do aparelho

• Licença Pro: o app gera um código do aparelho e do adaptador (resumos criptográficos, não os identificadores originais) para emitir e validar a licença. Na compra pela Google Play, o comprovante da compra é enviado ao nosso servidor para emitir a licença; se a compra for reembolsada ou cancelada, a licença ligada a ela é desativada. Se você digitar um código de licença ("Já tenho uma chave"), ele é conferido no nosso servidor. Com o Pro ativo, o app confere a licença uma vez por dia e informa a versão do app; o servidor guarda só a data do último uso e quantos dias o app foi usado, para acompanhar o uso das licenças. Nenhum dado do carro, do consumo ou das revisões é enviado.
• Diagnóstico, só com o seu consentimento: o log técnico da conexão (adaptador, protocolo, leituras do carro, modelo do aparelho e versão do app e, se o app tiver fechado sozinho, o relatório técnico dessa falha) só sai do aparelho quando você toca em "Enviar log ao suporte" ou em "Compartilhar log". No envio ao suporte, ele fica guardado no nosso servidor por 30 dias, só para atendimento. Nomes de celulares e de outros aparelhos Bluetooth e endereços de rede são apagados antes do envio. No compartilhamento, você escolhe para quem mandar. É sempre opcional.
• Contato para resposta (opcional): no "Enviar log ao suporte", você pode informar um e-mail ou WhatsApp para recebermos o log e respondermos a você. Esse contato vai ao nosso servidor junto com o log, é usado só para responder àquele pedido, fica guardado junto com o log pelo mesmo prazo (30 dias) e não é compartilhado com terceiros. Se você deixar o campo em branco, o log vai sem contato. Você pode pedir que ele seja apagado antes pelo girodashapp@gmail.com.
• Contribuir (opcional): em "Descobrir um sensor" e no fim da "Varredura completa", o botão "Contribuir" envia ao nosso servidor, só quando você toca, os dados técnicos que ajudam a melhorar o GiroDash para o seu carro: o modelo do carro e o VIN parcial (sem os 6 últimos caracteres, que identificam o veículo), as centrais e os dados encontrados (endereço, bloco, byte/bit e nota), o nome que você deu ao sensor, um trecho resumido da gravação ou o relatório da varredura, a versão do app, o modelo do aparelho, a versão do Android e o código do aparelho. Não vão nome, e-mail, localização nem o VIN completo. O envio fica guardado por 30 dias, só para melhorar os perfis de veículo e para atendimento, e não é compartilhado com terceiros. É sempre opcional.

O que o app não faz

• Não vende nem compartilha dados com terceiros para publicidade.
• Não tem anúncios nem rastreadores de terceiros.
• Não lê o conteúdo de notificações, contatos, mensagens ou arquivos pessoais.

Seus direitos (LGPD)

Você pode pedir a exclusão dos dados de licença, dos logs de suporte e do contato informado no envio do log pelo e-mail acima. Desinstalar o app apaga todos os dados guardados no aparelho, incluindo consumo, revisões e telas.

Segurança ao dirigir

Não opere o app com o veículo em movimento. Use-o com o carro parado ou peça a um passageiro.

GiroDash is a vehicle information dashboard that reads data through a Bluetooth OBD2 adapter.

What stays only on your device

• Vehicle data (rpm, speed, temperatures, gear, fault codes, etc.): read from the OBD2 adapter and shown and stored only on your device. It leaves your device only when you tap "Send log to support" or "Contribute" (see "What may leave your device").
• Fuel economy: averages, chart, range and the calibration you enter (liters filled and km driven) are calculated and stored only on your device.
• Service log: items, dates, mileages and reminders you register stay only on your device. If you export the list, the file goes wherever you choose.
• My screens and settings: dashboards you build, each car's data ("My vehicle"), units and preferences stay only on your device.

What the app uses

• Location (GPS): used only if you choose "speed from GPS", to show the speed. It is not recorded or sent.
• Bluetooth: to connect to the OBD2 adapter you choose.
• Music: song and artist name from the player, only to show them on the dashboard. In the Google Play version, if you grant "Notification access", the app uses it only to see and control the music player; the content of your notifications is not read or stored.

What may leave your device

• Pro license: the app creates a device and adapter code (cryptographic hashes, not the original identifiers) to issue and validate the license. For Google Play purchases, the purchase receipt is sent to our server to issue the license; if the purchase is refunded or canceled, the linked license is deactivated. If you type a license code ("I already have a key"), it is checked on our server. With Pro active, the app checks the license once a day and reports the app version; the server keeps only the date of last use and how many days the app was used, to monitor license usage. No car, fuel economy or service data is sent.
• Diagnostics, only with your consent: the technical connection log (adapter, protocol, car readings, device model and app version and, if the app closed unexpectedly, the technical crash report) leaves your device only when you tap "Send log to support" or "Share log". When sent to support, it is kept on our server for 30 days, only for support. Names of phones and other Bluetooth devices and network addresses are removed before sending. When sharing, you choose the recipient. It is always optional.
• Contact for a reply (optional): in "Send log to support", you can enter an e-mail address or WhatsApp number so we can reply to you about the log. This contact is sent to our server together with the log, is used only to answer that request, is kept with the log for the same period (30 days) and is not shared with third parties. If you leave the field blank, the log is sent without a contact. You can ask us to delete it sooner at girodashapp@gmail.com.
• Contribute (optional): in "Discover a sensor" and at the end of the "Full scan", the "Contribute" button sends to our server, only when you tap it, technical data that helps improve GiroDash for your car: the car model and a partial VIN (without the last 6 characters, which identify the vehicle), the control units and data found (address, block, byte/bit and score), the name you gave the sensor, a short summary of the recording or the scan report, the app version, the device model, the Android version and the device code. No name, e-mail, location or full VIN is sent. It is kept for 30 days, only to improve vehicle profiles and for support, and is not shared with third parties. It is always optional.

What the app does not do

• It does not sell or share data with third parties for advertising.
• It has no third-party ads or trackers.
• It does not read the content of notifications, contacts, messages or personal files.

Your rights (LGPD)

You can request deletion of license data, support logs and the contact you entered when sending a log at the e-mail above. Uninstalling the app deletes all data stored on the device, including fuel economy, service log and screens.

Driving safety

Do not operate the app while the vehicle is moving. Use it with the car stopped or ask a passenger.
